Statement of Faith

I Believe ...

  • All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man (woman) of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16,17. NKJV.

  • God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16. NKJV.

  • All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23. NKJV.

  • Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he (she) cannot see the Kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:5,6. NKJV.

  • God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:17. NKJV.

  • In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:1,14. NKJV.

  • Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through Jesus Christ. John 14:6. NKJV.

  • If anyone is in Christ, he (she) is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17. NKJV.

  • A believer’s body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19. NKJV

  • The Holy Spirit will teach us all about the things of God. John 14:26. NKJV.

  • God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are so totally and completely in agreement in their thoughts and ways that they are One indivisible God. They each have their own unique personality but remain One United Godhead.

  • It was not God’s Will that any should perish – be eternally separated from Him, so God the Son, Jesus Christ, willingly came to earth to make it possible for makind to be redeemed from their state of sinfulness. He was willing to pay the wages of sin which is death – for us. His death, burial, and resurrection set mankind free from the penalty of sin.

  • All mankind has to do to receive this gift of salvation is to repent (be sincerely sorry for living a sinful life) and be willing to let the Holy Spirit transform them into God’s image and likeness – having their thoughts and ways aligned with God’s righteous thoughts and ways. This was God’s original plan for mankind (see Genesis 1:26). This is called being born again.

Behold, I stand at the door (of every heart) and knock. If anyone hears My Voice and opens the door (of their heart), I will come in to that person and fellowship with them and they with Me.
(a paraphase of Revelation 3:20)
